2020 Hurumanu Learning Story.

Today in period 3 we are doing a learning story that is about what we have done this term even when we were in quarantine. We had to explain what we learnt and what we did and how we liked it. This is mine I really hope you enjoy it.

The Creation Of Tuna.

In art we are working on Tapa cloth. We had to make a Haiku poem about The Creation Of Tuna. The Creation Of Tuna is about how tuna was created and it was created by Hine Te Kaere. So she went to the lake to fetch water and then she felt something swimming past her leg. So she yelled out " HELP ". Maui her husband made a vine trap to catch the Tuna. They did catch it and Maui cut it into 4 pieces and that is how tuna was created. One question do u know what tuna is? It is an EEL! Wow, surprising right. There is also tuna fish which you can buy in a can. 😀😁😂

I am here to talk to you about a book called Unwanted Visitors. It is a pretty nice story, it is about visitors that you don't want to come to your house.
