Slide The Corner ( Fleur Beale )

Hello fellow readers,

Today I am going to do my opinion on what I think about the back paragraph on a story called, Slide The Corner. This story's author has done an amazing and interesting job on the paragraph on the back his name is Fleur Beale.

This is the little paragraph on the back on the page of Slide The Corner:

Thick. That's what I am, according to dad. Thick as crude oil. Just because the rest of the family are real brains, he and mum expect me to be the same.

What I really want to do is drive a rally car... And be a mechanic. Fat chance I thought... Until I met the Chatterton.

Look out, world, this dude is about to hit the road!

Inst that interesting I love it and definitely the last part. ( Last part ) Look out, World, this dude is about to hit the road!

Hopefully you enjoyed this hopefully I like what the book actually turns out like see you next time bye 👋.

Reading trends.

 Hello Readers,

Today I am here to talk to you about statistics and graphs. So today in hurumanu 6 we are learning how to use Graphs. I have to show you two of my graphs I have updated all of my data and added it all up so I know that all of my data is collected and ready to show. If you  know what graphs are here I am about to explain it to you. A graph is like a setup of all of the data you have gathered and put it in it is quite simple though you can change all of the details and there are lots of types of graphs like, Pie Chart, Bar graph, Coloum chart, Line graph and also histograms.

I think that the top one is the easier to read because you can actually see how it is set up. you can also tell that is also a good setup. They have good pronunciation to.

In art we are working on Tapa cloth. We had to make a Haiku poem about The Creation Of Tuna. The Creation Of Tuna is about how tuna was created and it was created by Hine Te Kaere. So she went to the lake to fetch water and then she felt something swimming past her leg. So she yelled out " HELP ". Maui her husband made a vine trap to catch the Tuna. They did catch it and Maui cut it into 4 pieces and that is how tuna was created. One question do u know what tuna is? It is an EEL! Wow, surprising right. Poetic Arts.

Hello Fellow Readers,

I am here to talk to you about the story that I just was reading. it is a little story i found called The Creation Of Tuna. So I really hope you. hopefully you like what I have to say.

In the story Tuna O Ranga I Te Raki had a problem which was that there was a Tuna in there fishing lake. I don't think you knew that but Tipuna means Grandfather and Grandma. A hinaki is a eel pot. I wonder what type of animal is a Tuna ohhh I know it is a EEL Wow Surprise Surprise.

So then we had to compare all of the things together, There was a clip that we had to watch and a book and then there is also some art that we also that to compare. So we have to compare the book to the art and the video clip to the art to. the famous art person has to be Leonardo Da Vinci. I would actually prefer the video clip to the art because the way were drawing and yeah just yeah...

Since it is around Anzac I  decided to make up a little poem thing if you want to hear it stay if you don't please at least leave a comment...

Anyway Here It Is...

To all of the families who have lost loved ones. I know that many of you have lost family members and friends in the wars back in 1914. Now that Anzac Day is here, it is time to honor and thank those who fought to protect us, this is my way of doing that. I am so grateful that thanks to these soldiers, I am able to grow up in a safe household and community. I appreciate this more than you could ever know and I am deeply sorry for those of you that did lose people to these wars. I will be thankful for my entire being here on earth. So again for the last time THANK YOU and not only for the soldiers but to the nurses, doctors and all of the animals too!

We Will Remember Them.
Lest We forget.

Anzac Day...

Seedlings & Biltong

Hello readers,

Today i am here to talk to you about all three amazing different types of sentences. the sentences are called W-Start, Very short sentence, Adverb start. Now that I have told you what the name for them are I am going to start explaining what each of them mean what one should we do first? I think that we should do W-start, So here we are time to start explaining. So you have heard of W-start probably because I just told you obviously. W-start is a group of W startings like Whilst, When, Where, While. it is like you can only start a sentence with one of these it is kinda weird but then it isn't. The very short sentence Huh how can I explain this I know a very short sentence has only 5 or less words. Huh? how do I explain what a adverb start is Huh how how how? I know a adverb start is a starting word that ends in ly easy time for some examples...

Examples:

When are the biltongs gonna be ready Mr?
Where did you put the seedlings Mr?

Did you get the biltongs?
What happens to the seedlings?

Sadly the biltongs aren't ready.
Happily the biltongs were ready 2 weeks after.
